So pretty outside. Which makes me wonder if the three people who called in sick at work today really were sick. That'd be full of crap. There were only two of us in our team, which did not cut it with the amount of today's work load.

But not to fret. Finally something is happening on the career front. Have a huge interview next week. I'm considering taking the day off work to prepare myself for it. On va voir.

What up Canada? Canadian politics, I must say, I like. I've always thought it's boring. There's no drama. Personalities are lacking. I wanna see more personal attacks and hits below the belt. But this whole sponsorship scandal has really caught my attention since the beginning. To Martin's performance on TV tonite I was glued. Things are getting really interesting. Exciting stuff!

Two things I picked up: Martin did not assert that he had nothing to do with the scandal. If he really was not involved with the scandal, he would reiterate it especially facing Canadians on national tv. Secondly, I agree with Harper's comment that Martin called for the election last year way too prematurely perhaps to evade the Gomery inquiry before it revealed too much. Smart move on the Liberal's part. Smarter observation by Harper. I love politics.

ANyway, I'm going to another wedding this saturday. This time I'm a videographercameraman whereas 2 weekends ago I was a groomsman. I made it clear to the couple that I'm no expert at it. But I'm finding myself taking this task really seriously. Spending a lot of time strategizing, meaning, trying to be artistic. Ha! Good luck to me.

Had an awesome weekend. I went to a wedding for the first time. As one of the groomsmen. I must say, I like being a groomsman. I get to sit at the head table, where I had bottomless serving of wine (red & white). They were excellent. I must've had around 10 glasses in total. It made for an awesome time on the dance floor. Overall, the wedding simple. But I had loads of fun.

On to the career front. Got an email from AC yesterday. Not good. I didn't get it, which bummed me out. Not that I really really wanted it. It's the blow in the ego more than anything. There was a bit of a picker-upper though. Heard from another job I applied for. Better news. Turns out, I move forward in the selection process. But I ain't going to party anytime soon. It's still a looong way to go. Or worse, it could come to an abrupt end (fingers crossed).

Thanks to my temp job. Management wants me to stay for a while as the company is booming/expanding at the moment. So it appears my supposed 2 month stint will be extended at least till the end of summer.

I miss school...
